STRETCH MARKS
How do stretch marks arise? Stretch marks represent a loss of skin elasticity due to the breakdown of elastin and collagen fibers and a vitamin C deficiency. The skin therefore loses its natural elastic ability to adapt to changes in the body. Stretch marks are distinguished by color from white to purple. It is possible to prevent stretch marks by keeping the skin well hydrated and nourished and it is possible to reduce the signs of existing ones with a specific treatment.
