BIRD'S EYE

What is birdseye? Birdseye is a callus-like thickening of the skin that typically develops between the toes or in the plantar area. It can appear following prolonged use of inappropriate footwear, due to rubbing and/or repeated trauma. Unlike a callus, a cornseye extends throughout much of the underlying dermis and is painful. In fact, the main symptoms are pain in the affected area which causes difficulty in walking correctly and standing for long periods.
