Our History and Scientific Excellence

In 1996, the BeC Laboratories were established to support the group's cosmetic and nutritional production through chemical, microbiological, and efficacy testing.

Since 2000, our accreditation by the MIUR (Italian Ministry of University and Research) has paved the way for prestigious research collaborations with the Universities of Bologna and Ferrara in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and nutraceutical fields.

Since 2015, we have made our extensive expertise available to external partners, offering specialized chemical and microbiological analysis, as well as efficacy, stability, and safety testing on their own samples.

Dear Colleague,

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Simone Gabbanini, Laboratory Manager at BeC srl, a company specializing in the production and marketing of cosmetic products and nutritional supplements, established in Forlì for over 40 years.

Since our internal analytical chemistry laboratory was accredited by the MUR (Ministry of University and Research) in 2000, we have shared our specialized know-how with companies in the cosmetic industry requiring chemical analysis of ingredients and/or finished products to ensure compliance with Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009.

Having operated in the cosmetic sector since 1982, we understand the challenges of finding laboratories capable of performing regulatory-grade analysis, especially on complex matrices like finished products. Our expertise stems from our need to verify the entire production cycle: from raw material supplier assessment and PIF (Product Information File) preparation to final quality control before commercialization.

We are available for everything from routine analysis to the development of specific research projects, addressing needs that often go unmet by standard laboratories.
